Who can use RetroBeads

You may use the local browser tool without creating an account. If you create an account, you confirm that you meet the account-age requirement shown at sign-in. The default is 16+ accounts unless RetroBeads publishes a different legal-approved policy.

Your images and patterns

You keep your rights to your images, patterns, and project data. You are responsible for using images and artwork that you own, made, licensed, or otherwise have permission to use. Do not upload, sync, share, or publish material that infringes someone else's rights.

If you choose Back up project for a project, or Update backup after local changes, RetroBeads may store project data and an optional normalized working image so the project can reopen on another device. The original full-resolution upload stays local and is not the cloud source. RetroBeads does not need ownership of your work to do that; it needs permission to store and process the selected backup for the service.

Accounts and cloud features

Accounts exist for ownership, publishing identity, recovery, paid features, and account-backed tools. Prism project backups are explicit Back up project and Update backup actions; My Beads sync is a separate Prism feature for cross-device inventory. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider. Cloud features may have project, storage, file-size, and rate limits so RetroBeads can stay reliable and affordable.

Local projects remain your responsibility. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser, device, extensions, or operating system, so use local backup or cloud features when the work matters.

Paid features

Paid features use a Merchant of Record for checkout, payment, tax, receipts, cancellation, and refund handling. The checkout page will show the price, renewal terms, and provider before you pay. Free features and paid limits may change over time, but RetroBeads will not make a purchase without your consent.

Acceptable use

• Do not use RetroBeads for illegal, abusive, hateful, or harmful activity.
• Do not upload, sync, share, or publish material you do not have the right to use.
• Do not try to bypass account, cloud, storage, rate, payment, or security limits.
• Do not attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer abuse controls, or disrupt the service.
• Do not misrepresent RetroBeads output as official artwork from another brand or rights holder.

Availability and changes

RetroBeads is a small maker tool. We aim to keep it useful and available, but we may change features, limits, providers, or pricing as the product grows. We may suspend or remove account-backed access when needed to protect users, comply with law, handle abuse, or keep the service running.

Export, deletion, and retention

Account controls let you export account-backed data or request deletion. If Prism access ends, existing cloud projects stay read-only and remain available to restore, export, or delete for 90 days; new cloud writes are blocked, and remaining cloud data is deleted after the window. Account deletion removes data and public output RetroBeads controls, subject to legal duties. Billing, refund, dispute, tax, security, and abuse records may require limited retention or pseudonymization instead of immediate deletion.

Translations and contact
